Congratulations!!
Well done to all those who graded! Keep working hard and persevering to all those who wanted to grade but didn’t quite get there this time.
As instructors we were all very proud of those that did grade last Tuesday. This was a special grading in the sense that it was one of only a few that our Master McPhail (VII Dan) now takes in Wellington. We will pobably only have one grading every two years now that will be run by him and as Chief Examiner and Technical Director of ITKD in New Zealand he likes to assess the overall standard of clubs and their Regions. So it is both a privilage and a very good gauge of your technique and overall Taekwon-Do standard to have him as your examiner.
As such he threw some tough linework and theory questions into the mix which is always challenging and our club members coped with it reasonably well - however suffice to say we will be doing some more advanced techniques in our line work session from now on though!
An administrative “glitch” meant that one of our 10th gups ended up being called up to grade all on her own!!! She still managed an “A” pass with ALL EYES ON HER - thats SPIRIT! Well done Jemma!
We were also the organising club for this grading so thankyou to those of you who helped out either on the nights or behind the scenes to make the grading a success for everyone.

13 students were awarded “A” passes which is an excellent result for those individuals and us as a club.
