Power Breaking Seminar

Great opportunity to improve your breaking technique with tutelage from Master Rocky Rounthwaite & Mrs Trish Rounthwaite. This seminar is “compulsory” for all blue belts and above.

We’re supplying a breaking machine and Mr Lee would like some help shifting it to Porirua (1-2 Adults) please. Please let him know if you are able to help.

Umpires Course

Date: Saturday, 4th August
Time: 9am - 4:00pm

There is a FREE umpires course at the Khandallah club on the 4 August. If you want to officiate at Regionals you must attend this course. Please let Mr Lee know if you are planning on attending.

Regional Tournament

Date: 11th August
Time: 7.45am Registration opens, 8.30am Form-up
Venue: Te Rauparaha Arena, 17 Parumoana Street, Porirua

Entry Fee: All standard events flat fee $30. 
Max family fee $60 for 3 or more.
Clubs to collect fees, one total payment per club please.
Pre-arranged and all team events $15 per team entered

ALL our seniors are “required” to be involved in Regionals – either as officials or competing. If officiating you need to attend the umpires course on the 4th. We are supplying mats so will need some volunteers to help shift them on Friday evening, 10th Aug.

Regional Grading

Date: Saturday, 25th August
Time: 1pm - 4:30pm

The once a year regional grading is planned for Saturday, August 25th and will be held at Cashmere Ave Primary School. 

At this time our club has been assigned to the afternoon session starting at 1pm with a formal line up for all students grading. The grading is expected to take 3.5 hours so finishing at approximately 4:30pm. We’re not sure when our members will be required to demonstrate their knowledge to the examiner, so please be prepared to stay for the 3.5 hours.
