Co-Instructors

Our club is lucky to have two great co-instructors Mr Nick Lee and Mr Shannon Ryan.

Mr Nick Lee - V Dan

Head Instructor

Mr Lee joined ITFNZ - North Wellington in mid 2002 as an enthusiastic late starter under the instruction of Mrs Beryl Pimblott (3rd Dan) and graded to IV Dan in 2016.

Mr Lee says that his ‘energy and passion for Taekwon-Do grew rapidly with Mrs Pimblotts’ instruction style’ and now as joint Instructor of the club it is that same energy and passion he is looking to pay forward into the next generation of North Wellington students. Mr Lee also credits Taekwon Do training with, re-igniting his passion for a greater understanding of human health, physical movement and performance, and the catalyst that lead to him establishing himself as a full-time Personal Trainer.

Mrs Rachel Watt - III Dan

Assistant Instructor

Mrs Watt has been with North wellington since she and her family first began their Taekwon journey together in 2007. She was appointed Assistant Instructor while a 1st Dan and most recently attained her 3rd Dan along side her son Hamish who attained his 1st Dan.

Founding Intructor

Mrs Beryl Pimblott - III Dan

Mrs Pimblott (3rd Dan) is the past and founding instructor of North Wellington and also a past Regional Director of Wellington ITFNZ. Mrs Pimblott maintains an active role in the clubs management in her capacity as Chairperson and either trains or assists with instruction as her current business commitments allow.
